One of the quickest ways to “dress” up your home is to start with the exterior siding.  There are many different types of siding to consider and with our skilled employees, All American Exteriors would be happy to talk through all the options with you.

Vinyl Siding

Probably the most popular siding nationwide, vinyl siding has come a long way since its early introduction into home remodeling in the late 1950s.  Its purpose was to be the most “maintenance-free” exterior siding product, an alternative to the popular aluminum siding of the time.  The draw-backs to the early products decades ago was the lack of color selection, the lack of impact strength and the overall plastic look – something that vinyl siding was known for looking like….plastic siding.

Now, nothing can be further from the truth.  This siding has grown not only in color availability, but in durability and definitely in appearance.  It has been designed to look very much like cedar siding, something that all siding has tried to replicate throughout the years.  Homeowners can choose between different woodgrain textures, varying exposure profiles and dozens of different colors.  All American Exteriors LLC offers all different types of vinyl siding including: “Hollow-back” siding panels and Insulated siding panels, offering everything from triple 3-inch exposure profile through single 7-inch exposure profiles.

We are trained and certified by the Vinyl Siding Institute (VSI Certification) and are also certified at the ELITElevel with one of the largest siding manufacturers, Mastic.  Our trained staff would be happy to discuss with you additional pros and cons to these types of vinyl siding to see which option(s) are best for you and your families home.

James Hardie Siding:

Almost all siding tries to recreate the look of REAL cedar siding.  Some of the issues with cedar siding has been maintenance (painting/staining), cupping, warping, cracking, woodpeckers, knot-holes and so on. Installing real cedar siding can be very expensive to have installed, and some subdivision constitutions require cedar siding to be used only.

All American Exteriors LLC specializes in giving customers options with their home exterior projects.  James Hardie is a natural wood alternative to cedar siding. Made in Minnesota, this engineered wood siding gives homeowners the ability to have ‘real’ cedar-looking siding installed on their home without the typical problems that cedar siding can have throughout the years.  We give a 25 year paint warranty with all our James Hardie siding.  Homeowners can choose ANY COLOR THEY WANT and we will supply a warranty that covers paint defects for peace of mind.  Yes, color choices can be endless with James Hardie, but homeowner satisfaction in the exact color a homeowner is after is our goal with this product.
